Projects

Job Tracker

Job Tracker is my personal web application for managing a job search. It brings together job opportunities, application progress, and related notes in one place so that I can keep track of the roles I am pursuing.

This project also provides a learning opportunity where I can practice techniques that have become a little rusty over time, and allows me to experiment with new areas I haven't used before, for example I added a passkey security implementation recently, there is an MCP implementation that I have linked to a Grok Bot I created to allow that bot to work with the data, and I'm current working on integrating AI into the application that will allow the data to be available via a chat interface.

Car Hub

Car Hub is a collection of small car-related sub-pages and experiments. It currently includes tools and games such as the car running-cost calculator and Othello, with more pages able to be added over time.

The idea behind this is to use the browser in my Tesla to perform tasks I am interested in, and again serves as a learning opportunity.

Work Manager

Work Manager is a project that is still under development. More details will be added here when it is ready, but I have been working on this idea since my Delphi days and it has been through numerous Java and more recently C# revisions since then, but I never progressed it to a releasable product which, with the help of an AI assisted development workflow, I hope to actually achieve this time.

The idea is that I can manage meetings, research, tasks, etc. by client or employer in much the same way as Notion does (this idea is over 20 years old at this point so it's now more of a hobby project that I can tailor for my own usage, rather than something I though I could commercially release all those years ago).
